Questions owners ask us
Which sports does Korto support?
Badminton, tennis, pickleball, table tennis, football, futsal, cricket, box cricket and swimming out of the box — each with the right facility name, from courts to tables to grounds to pools. Run a sport we don’t list and it still works; Korto adapts to it.
We only do coaching and don’t own courts. Is Korto still for us?
Yes. You can skip court setup entirely in onboarding and run batches, enrolments, trials, monthly fees and attendance on their own. Korto works for a coaching academy that rents its space just as well as for a venue with courts to sell.
Does it work on a phone, or do I need a computer?
Both. Korto is built mobile-first for the front desk and the coaching floor, and works just as well on a laptop in the office. The same login, the same data, whichever screen you’re on.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. Multiple branches sit under one academy. Switch branch and your role follows the context, so you don’t juggle separate logins, and owner reports can read the whole business or one location at a time.
Will my front desk staff see my revenue?
No. Access runs across seven roles. Owner insights — collections, revenue, the daily pulse — stay with the owner. Reception and coaches see only what their job needs.
I already get bookings from Playo and Hudle. Does that break Korto?
Not at all. You record those bookings against their channel, so you can see exactly how much each platform brings in. One screen that keeps availability aligned across platforms is in early access — tell us which ones you use and we’ll bring you in as it rolls out.
Does Korto work with Tally?
Korto gives you a date-range report with every transaction and GST already split into CGST, SGST and IGST, ready for your accountant to import into Tally. It’s a clean file you download and hand over — not a live two-way Tally connection.
Is my academy’s data kept separate from other academies?
Yes. Each academy’s data is isolated, and access within your academy is governed by roles. Staff at one academy cannot see another’s bookings, students or numbers.
How long does setup take?
Guided onboarding walks you from academy details to branches, sports, courts, pricing and tax, and you can pause and resume any time. A single-branch academy is usually up and taking bookings the same day.
